Hello, everyone. On behalf of my sister Laura, my nephew Drew, and myself, thank you so much for all of your condolences and support and for sharing all of the love you held for Mom. Through a time of such unimaginable sorrow and grief, your stories about her have lifted our spirits immeasurably. It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than three months since we lost her and it’s time to gather together to celebrate Mom’s life.
Please join us at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 30 for an interment service at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA (412 South Cherry St 23220), followed immediately afterwards by a reception in the parish hall at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Bon Air (2040 McRae Rd 23235). In keeping with the season and our desire to celebrate Mom, we request that you wear bright, summer colors and your favorite flip-flops or sandals if you can. The more floral, beachy,and cat prints, the better! We will also have a table with photos of Mom and we invite anyone to bring their own favorite photos of her to add to the display.
RSVP is not required but if you believe you will be attending please let us know by replying to this post or emailing me at anniemoon at gmail dot com so we can provide our caterer with an approximate headcount. A map to the cemetery plot can be provided upon request. Thank you all again and we hope to see you on July 30.
