Sunday Sharing (5)

I often find posts by other bloggers
that strike a chord in me for one reason
or another and I’ll be occasionally sharing
them here on Buried Under Books.

Today’s share is from SUSANLOVESBOOKS:

A New England inn seems like the picture-perfect place to spend the holidays. But when a snowstorm shuts the roads and keeps all the guests inside, they find themselves worrying that this Christmas may not be exactly what they dreamed.

Hannah has plans for a picturesque winter wedding, but they come crashing down when her fiancé calls everything off.

Jeanne and Tim don’t know how they’re going to keep the inn open another year – or how to bridge the distance in their marriage. With a flurry of unexpected guests, they’ll have to work together to fix all the problems that crop up. But will it be enough to rekindle their relationship?

Molly just needs to finish her latest book, but her writer’s block is crippling. And the arrival of Marcus, a handsome widower with two young girls, is exactly the distraction she doesn’t need.

As the characters’ stories intertwine, they discover that with faith, and a little bit of Christmas magic, they just might find hope where they thought it had been lost.

The White Christmas Inn

Colleen Wright

What a beautiful story THE WHITE CHRISTMAS INN is! The cover just screams holidays to me and I was in love with it the first time I saw it! Once I started reading, it was very hard to stop! The twists and turns made it impossible to put down, as I had to know what was going to happen to Molly and Hannah. What an awesome story. All of Colleen’s characters feel genuine and relatable and put your emotions on one heck of a roller coaster ride. As you are reading, you will find yourself cheering for all of them, praying they can work out their problems and be happy once again.

THE WHITE CHRISTMAS INN takes place in Vermont just before Christmas. Hannah is supposed to be getting married there but her fiancé has just dropped a bombshell on her. Molly is at the inn trying to break through her writers block and get busy on her next book.It had me flipping through the pages like a woman on a mission. I had to know what was going to happen to Molly and Hannah and all of the secondary characters. THE WHITE CHRISTMAS INN is a heart felt story that will hold you hostage until the very last page. Once you start reading, it will be very hard to put down!

Colleen Wright really knows how to write about personal struggles, family, and forgiveness. Even though this is my first book by Colleen Wright I can not wait to read more by this wonderful and heart tugging author. THE WHITE CHRISTMAS INN plays out just like a Hallmark Holiday movie that we all can’t help but watch.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Howard/Atria Books through Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

COLLEEN WRIGHT was raised in snowy towns in Michigan, where she loved curling up by the fire with a good book at Christmas. She now lives and works in Brooklyn.
